Beachbody’s Super Suma – Does Suma Work?
Can You Get Explosive Gains in Muscle Size and Strength with Super Suma?
Beachbody is touting the use of it’s Super Suma for use with the Body Beast workouts. The claim is that it will increase testosterone and consequently produce larger muscles. But is that true? Could we be missing other benefits?
Based on my research, Suma ( a root plant of South America – also sometimes called Brazilian ginseng) seems to possess a number of benefits. These include:
- Increased muscle mass in men (due to the Ecdysterone components in Suma which can produce a moderate increase in testosterone)
- Supports protein synthesis
- Increased stamina and endurance
- A balancing of hormones
- Energy booster
- Sexual tonic
- Immunity booster
Basically Suma may be thought of as a general tonic with adaptogenic and regenerative properties. So the Super Suma product is good for a lot more than a way to stimulate more muscle growth in men. In fact, Suma may be good for women as well as men.
Can Women Benefit from Suma?
I was surprised that Beachbody has ignored this. Actually Suma appears to be great for women. It balances out female hormones and is thought to be particularly useful for menopausal and post menopausal women. And the energizing and endurance enhancing properties may be very useful for any woman doing high intensity workout programs like Body Beast, P90X, P90X2, Insanity, Asylum or TurboFire.
My Beachbody Super Suma Review
If you are looking for an added edge in your Beachbody transformation, I believe Super Suma can be a great addition. Of course no supplement is a magic pill and if you don’t workout to your fullest and eat a properly balanced, clean diet, the benefits will be reduced. Also different people react differently to natural products so your experience is unique to you. That said, there is enough good benefits to make Super Suma part of your diet.
