Hello everyone,

It looks like people are wanting to know what Shakeology is compared to?  Do you guys have any ideas of what we can compare shakeology to?

I would like to write a post about it, but for some reason I can't come up with any good comparisons.

Help, please!

Toni,

The "comparisons" could be referring to three things:

1) Comparison amongst Shakeology itself, like the different flavors.

or

2) Comparison of Shakeology to other meal replacements / supplements.

or

3) Comparison of using Shakeology versus whole foods.

If I had to guess, I would say it's the second or third one.  If this is the route you'd like to take on a post for your site maybe you can write something to where you "compare Shakeology to XYZ meal replacement powder" (comparing prices or ingredients), or you "compare Shakeology to buying popular organic health foods".

Better yet, Toni, why try to figure out which one it could be?  How about simply write 3 different posts on these 3 different scenarios??

I think your difficulty may be that there really isn't anything out there that is a direct comparison.  There are weight loss meal replacement shakes but they don't have all the phytonutrients that Shakeology has.  There are green drinks out there which can be a combination of greens, veggie and fruit extracts but they are not really a meal replacement.

I have to head off the the store in a bit.  I want to look at a fruit drink thing Chris had the other day that was fruit juice, maybe some greens (not as sure about that) and protein to see what a serving costs on that.

Basically you are going to make a 'soft' comparison to other products.  That's definitely a bit tougher to do.  That's why I wished BB would come up with a real advertising campaign to help us out.  I'd also like to see the product tested and assigned an ORAC rating that other green/veggie/fruit extracts usually have.

Yes, it's hard to push a product that no one knows anything about.

Advertisement would help out allot!
