No, not steriods. I'm now officially a hardcore juicer, as in putting all kinds of vegetables and fruits through a juicer and drinking it up.
There were a few documentaries I saw in the last several months that really made me think about getting into juicing, on top of me reading last year a very eye-opening book that proves the clear cut benefits of getting your vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc., from their whole food source versus a pill. The documentaries, in case any are interested, are The Gerson Miracle, Food Matters, and Fat/Sick/and Almost Dying. The book is Muscle, Speed, & Lies.
Anyway, I now have one to two large glasses of the juice I make a day. Eventually, I would like to up it a little. And every few weeks I'll go several days in a row where all I'll have are these juices. I put everything but the kitchen sink into them.
