My 10 Minute Trainer Review
This is the perfect workout for people who are just getting back to exercise but can’t find the time to commit to a full workout like P90X. It’s also the perfect travel companion for those of us who tavel a lot. You can find 10 minutes at the beginning of your day and, perhaps, another 10 minutes before that business dinner and with only a small time commitment, you’ve workout out and maintain your fitness while on the road.
Now I’ve done several rounds of P90X so I’m in pretty good shape but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the ab and lower body routine is with this program. I mean it’s a real workout and it all happens in 10 minutes. I also like the 10 minute trainer yoga routine (so much doable than the 90 minutes you need for P90X yoga). The only workout I was not totally enamored with was the cardio program. I just couldn’t get my heart rate up that high but remember I do sprint HIITs 2x or 3x per week so my cardio vascular system is really better than all but elite athletes.
In my opinion, best results will result from doing two ten minute sessions per day. You can stack these together for 20 minutes all at once or split them up and do one in the morning and one in the early evening. But even one session per day will start to tone you up.
