CoachChr1s front 225x300 The Killer Slow Mo Push ups Today Nancy and I did the P90X workout Chest, Shoulders & Triceps. Thank God for Jacked, because I’m not sure I would have made it without. This workout is brutal, and it never fails to pump me up. Tony kicks off the workout with a move called Slow-mo push-ups, and they are killer. The move is a basic push-up with a 4 second count down, and a 4 second count up. Tony has you do 4 sets, and by the last set I’m ready to drop to my knees. As if the slow-mo push-ups aren’t bad enough he through in another move called Two Twitch Speed Push-ups. This move is also a basic push-up, starting with a slow 4 count down, and 4 count up with three reps, then you do three reps as fast as you can, and even if that was enough, you do it all over again. I love push-ups, but damn those two moves suck!

One thing I love about this workout is the awesome pump I get from it. After a few side-tri-rise, and chair dips my triceps are all sorts of pumped up. My pecks and shoulders get a great pump from the workout as well. My pecks look nice and inflated by the end of the workout, perfect for hitting the pool. I am definitely doing this workout before my next set of pictures; I just love how it pumps me up in all the right places.

Tomorrow is another Abs day, and I’m still trying to recover from yesterdays Abs workout. Boy is my abdominal section sore today. I knew I was going to be hurting today, when I was struggling on the Ab-Staps during my last set. I am just hoping I can make a full recovery by tomorrow morning, because there is nothing like trying to do ARX when your gut is already sore.
