P90X Week 2 – Legs & Back and Kempo Workouts

It’s actually Sunday and I’m writing this on my day of rest. Friday we did legs and back and maybe I just like this workout but the 2 times we’ve done it I’ve really felt like I was able to ‘Bring It’. That’s a good feeling. Ended up a bit sore on Saturday but it was not too bad. [Note to self - be sure to write article about how to reduce muscle soreness and joint pain by working with the body's acid/alkaline balance.]

Saturday was Kenpo, a martial art (derivative? – I’m not particularly knowledgeable on the martial arts). I like this kind of exercise and have done kick boxing videos before so ‘bringing it’ wasn’t a problem. Chris struggled a bit more than me because the moves were totally unique to him.

Anyway we felt we ended the week strongly. Took our ’2 week’ pictures (they were actually taken on day 12) and when I did a side by side on Chris, I was amazed at how far he had come. Even I had made significant, visible difference and our measurements which we took next confirmed what we saw in the pictures.

Not that I had any doubts but clearly this program ROCKS!
