After a long weekend Back & Biceps was incredibly difficult. This weekend started with dinner at my aunt’s house for my cousin’s rehearsal dinner. Then on Friday we had the wedding followed by the reception where I was a bad boy ate and drank bad things. This was also the first weekend back from my vacation in AZ so I went out and met up with my friends, and again drank bad things. Then on Sunday we went to John’s Italian Steak House, for my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary, and I ate like a pig again. So today when Nancy and I started our workout, I knew it was going to be painful when I was getting worn out during the warm-up.
We got into the workout, and I believe the first pull-up is a wide front I got three out, and started to wonder what the hell in wrong with me. About half way through the workout, I decided it was the full weekend of abuse I put my body through. I mean I didn’t grab the 30 pounders once until we got to strip set curls. Despite feeling like crap, and performing sub par, I do really like that workout. I feel like there are some really good moves in there that work the entire bicep.
Tomorrow Nancy and I will be doing ARX + whatever she decides depending on how much pain she want to put me through. Just kidding I love it when she pushes me to try harder, there is nothing like a good workout buddy.
