I’ve gotten a few requests for a P90XTurbo Fire Workout.  This workout is a great add on for anyone who has done a full round of P90X, has bought Turbo Fire and is looking for a great workout to change things up and spend a bit less time at it.

Try  this P90X – Turbo Fire Hybrid Workout if you are OK with high intensity moves that include a bit of jumping.  It will lean you out while preserving and/or increasing lean muscle mass.

  1. Nancy,

Thank you so much for posting this! I have less than 3 weeks left on my first round of P90X and then I’m excited to start the TF/P90X Hybrid! This is exciting!

  2. You’re welcome Kimberly! The P90X – Turbo Fire hybrid workout has been the #1 requested hybrid workout. (Of course that may be because I already have a P90X – Insanity hybrid workout up.) Now I’m off to work on a P90X – One on One hybrid.

  3. Starting your hybrid tomorrow! Can’t wait!

  4. Nancy,

I’ve done Power 90, a round of ChaLean Extreme, and am 2 weeks away from finishing a ChaLean Extreme/Turbofire Hybrid. I want to move on to P90X, but I love love love the Hiit workouts (and I’m concerned about finding time to workout for an hour or more 6 days a week). Can I do your P90X/Turbofire Hybrid now or should I do regular P90x first and then the hybrid next time through?

  5. Hi Kristen,

Given all the programs you have gone through already, you would be fine doing the hybrid now.

  6. Hi Nancy, I found your hybrid online a couple of months ago and am just about to finish it this week. What happens after the 2months? I like the hybrid a lot, but was wondering if you have created something that goes on longer or if I should just keep repeating the second month – since it is a bit more challenging than the first month? What is the best next step now if I want to continuenthis hybrid of the two?

    Thanks. Jennifer

  7. Hi Jennifer

You could recycle the whole thing or just the 2nd month depending on how taxed (or not) your body feels. What are your goals at this point?

  8. Hi Nancy,
My goal? Well, it’s to look like you, of course! In the middle of last year, I did a round of P90x, and got ok results. I still had this layer of fat around my middle that I can’t seem to get rid of. I began a new round in September of last year, but work, travel, holidays and getting sick kind of crimped the whole thing. I then thought that I needed more cardio than P90x had to offer and so I bought Insanity..but it didn’t really motivate me that much. I then bought TF and I love it, but it doesn’t have as much of a weight workout as P90x. I wanted to combine the two and so found your hybrid online. I began the hybrid in January. The reason why I ask you if you have an extended schedule is because you said that month one was easier than month two. Therefore, I assumed when I finished month 2, I should go to something more difficult…in addition, P90x runs for 3 months and the hybrid was only two. Anyway, was just wondering how to proceed now. i also like the YogaX once a week in P90x which I saw wasn’t in your hybrid and so I had to switch out something every week to put that in. I love the way that you have shortened the workouts from P90x though.
