Today Nancy and I did the P90X workout Shoulders & Arms. We both went all out during the workout, upping our weight, and going for those last 3 reps that really burn. Not only did we up our weight, we kept the weight up for the entire workout. I was surprised to see, I was using the same weight as Tony for a couple of the moves. Today is day three of taking the ceatine supplement I recently picked up. I’m curious to see what I am able to accomplish in one week. I would be sweet if I was able to add three pounds of muscle in one week, but we will see what the measurements have to say.
Tomorrow is another ARX day, and I have to admit, I get really pumped for this workout the day before. However come the day of, all I want to do is be a slug, something about doing ARX first thing in the morning really drains my motivation. Nancy is always there to motivate me, and push me along, and I love that. After working out alone, it really gives one an appreciation for how big a difference a partner can make. I love having a partner to keep me in check, and if you haven’t tried doing P90X with a partner, give it a shot for a week, and see how helpful it is to have someone making sure you are pushing yourself, like you should be.
