TurboFire Stretch 40 – Ahhhh…..

I have to admit that I have been short changing my stretching in the last few weeks as I’ve been very focused on hitting high intensity resistance training and interval training to lean up just a bit more. And while it worked, I could feel my muscles getting tight.
Today I did the TurboFire Stretch 40 for the first time. This was such a great relief. Not that all the moves were easy because they weren’t but they sure felt great. Chalene starts off with a fair amount of yoga before she transitions to pure stretch. It was kind of like taking P90X’s Yoga X and X-stretch and combining them in a shorter session. But that’s not completely fair to this routine because Chalene includes moves you cannot find in either Yoga X or X-stretch.
I particularly liked the hip stretch routines. I am particularly tight in my hips right now and this was sort of painful to do but felt so great when I was done. And I liked the short relaxation session at the very end. Leaves you relaxed and energized at the same time.
In short, this routine gets a big thumbs up from me and is one I’m going to incorporate in my workouts on a regular basis.
