I have to admit that I don’t stretch enough. I’m not sure why. I appreciate the importance of stretching but even knowing it’s important, I have never been big on stretching.
Perhaps it’s because my muscles tend to be tight and I’m not all that flexible. I know that this means I should be extra dedicated to stretching but when faced with a stretching routine that can take the better part of an hour, I tend to find something else I consider more pressing to do.
Today I did the TF Stretch 10 workout after my Ab blast workout finished (today’s ab blast routines included P90X ARX, TF Core 20 and a fat burning TF HIIT 15). I decided to try it because it was only a 10 minute commitment and I couldn’t see where I was too busy to get that little bit done. I’m glad I did it.
In a mere 10 minutes, Chalene Johnson really nails every significant muscle. I was left feeling more relaxed as well as more flexible. And what I really liked was the rotator cuff exercises. I do a lot of pull ups with P90X and so keeping my rotator cuff in good shape is important. This is a routine I will be doing a couple times a week going foward.
