Yep it’s about that time… This weekend a couple friends and I uncovered the pool, and jumped in. This turned out to be a pretty bad idea, as the pool hasn’t had time to heat up with the weather being fairly cool lately. None the less Saturday rolled around, and it got up to 80 degrees, which felt pretty hot, after the ridiculous winter we went through. We jumped in, and it felt like a pool of ice water! It was definitely an eye opener, but it was worth it. That was the first time I’ve been able to show off my new bod since Nancy and I started P90X back in August, so I feel as if it was worth the freezing cold water.
Man it felt great to take my t-shirt off, and not feel self conscious. I got a few compliments from a couple girls who knew me back when I was pudgy Chris and, boy that felt great too. I’ve worked really hard to get in the shape I’m in, and it’s nice that other people are noticing. On a side note Bob (my father) just found out he is a winner in the $5000.00 dollar shakeology contest. I’m really glad he won because I feel like he made an amazing transformation, not to mention he is 52 years old.
Nancy and I did Legs & Back today. Monday’s are always tough, but I was pretty impressed with our performance today. Despite the heavily eating terrible food yesterday, we both had a better workout than the week before. I can’t wait for “Killer Abs” tomorrow, I’m going to give it hell, and rip those Abs up!
