If you are doing P90X, especially Classic you need more than 900 calories a day. Even if you are doing Lean you need to eat at least 1200 calories a day. Also 3oz of meat isn’t going to be enough protein. For optimal results you want to add some lean muscle while you burn fat. Having enough protein in your diet helps with both objectives. As you’ll see when you read that article, I strongly recommend a sustainable lifestyle change, not a starvation diet you have to get off of after 2 – 3 months. With a lifestyle change you will always be in control of your body.
