End of Week 4 of HIT/Resistance Training

Chris and I finished our 4th week of our High Intensity (Interval – usually) Training (HIT – or HIIT with intervals). How has it gone? Pretty well I think. Most interestingly we are both achieving our goals which are aimed in different directions.
Chris has put on a couple pounds of muscle which has been his goal since we finished our 1st round of P90X. Today I could notice the added mass right through his sweater. Tomorrow is his weigh in day so I’ll have a better count of just how much muscle that’s been then.
I, on the other hand, have been focused on leaning up further without losing any muscle. I am losing a little weight, I’m definitely losing inches and I look more ripped and toned than I have in years – maybe ever.
And as ultimate proof of my advancement, I finally got into my ‘skinny’ jeans today. I’ve not been able to fit into those for over 7 years. Cool beans!
